They say “God wouldn’t bring you this far to leave you.”
Have you ever wondered who “they” are since “they” say so many things? I do. Mainly because much of these “sayings” are embedded in my mind but upon closer examination they are not always based on anything I believe to be true.
Well, this one came to my mind and made me wonder. I came to this conclusion.
God didn’t bring me this far to leave me here but I didn’t bring me this far to leave me here either! New Year’s Eve I made some declarations. I set some goals and I had a vision for this year. What about you?
If you are like me then CONGRATULATIONS you are half way to your 2018 success! Let’s take a moment to assess what our half way point looks like. Ask yourself these questions:
Six months into any new year is a great time to make sure your S.M.A.R.T. goals are not just for work. When your goals are smart then you will be clear on what you want, use time and resources effectively, and increase your chances for success.
Look at that list of goals again. Be deliberate and remove any goal that is not:
Also make sure your goals are things you can actually do. Remove personal goals that are based on other people’s actions, responses, or partnership. God didn’t bring you this far to leave you wrestling with dumb goals.
You are half way to success.
Assess your goals now. Are they SMART enough to realize your vision for this year?
What will you do with the DUMB goals?
